PENGARUH ROM AKTIF TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MOBILISASI PADA LANSIA ARTRITIS REUMATOID DI RUMAH BAHAGIA KAWAL KECAMATAN GUNUNG KIJANG KABUPATEN BINTAN KEPRI

Abstract

Elderly people who experience rheumatoid arthritis include 2 elderly people who use wheelchairs, 7 elderly people who use sticks, 2 elderly people who experience bed rest, 14 elderly people who carry out their daily activities by themselves, and 7 other elderly people that their activities are assisted by the orphanage management so as to prevent the clutter of the joints it is recommended that active motion exercises (ROM) be recommended, correct body position regulation is very important to reduce stress in the affected joints and prevent deformity. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of active ROM on the ability of mobilization in elderly rheumatoid arthritis. The design used in this study was an experimental quasi design with one group pretest posttest design method on 32 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire sheets and presented in the form of frequency distribution tables with t-test which uses significance level α = 0.05 (95% confidence level). The results of this study there is a difference in the ability to mobilize before the active Rom and after the active Rom 0.716 and the probability value t sig is obtained. (2-tailed) is 0,000 <0.05 thus H0 is rejected. It was concluded that there was a significant effect between the administration of active ROM to the ability of mobilization in the elderly rheumatoid arthritis in the house of happily guarding Gunung Kijang District, Bintan Regency, Kepri Province.
