Abstract

PT Berca - Jasatel is a one of the authorized distributors of computer Hewlerr Packard (HP) and test & measurement products since 1973 as well as the internet service provider that has been engaged since 2000. At the company's presence there is a system that still runs manually, where the attendance system implementation there are a few things that become obstacles, which include the effectiveness and efficiency time and attendance processes, attendance report form is still a hardcopy that can complicate the process of collecting data, and the possibility that the missing reports. For this reason, the authors attempt to provide an alternative solution of the problem by making an analysis and system design an application attendance system that will record the data and the list of employee attendance, time of arrival, time of departure, as well as a recap of the total working hours and time off to be made in a systematic and computerized methods of barcode so will eliminate the process of recording employee attendance has been run manually at PT Berca - Jasatel Batam and also with the use of barcode method will reduce the error rate of inputting employee ID in the attendance process. In the design and analysis, the author also explain the stages of processing, from the process of analysis, planning, interview and also to stage design using UML (Unified Modeling Language), to create a usecase diagram, sequence diagrams, the candidate class, the class diagram, database,activity diagram, as well as the design of the display input and output.
