Lack of knowledge and proper attitudes in dealing with dysmenorrhea can worsen this condition. Health promotion through video media is an effective educational method to increase awareness and understanding of dysmenorrhea among adolescents</em><em>. This research aims to determine the effect of health promotion through video media on knowledge and attitudes about dysmenorrhea in young women at SMA Negeri 15 Batam City in 2024.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study sample consisted of 93 female students from grade XI at SMA Negeri 15 Kota Batam, selected using a total sampling method. Acne can be caused, prevented, or treated with facial skin care. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the behavior of using facial skin care and the incidence of acne vulgaris in female students at Batam University</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This research is observational analytic with a cross sectional design. This study used a questionnaire regarding the use of facial skin care and the incidence of acne vulgaris, which was then processed using the SPSS program. Statistical analysis uses the Chi- square test</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Results: </strong><em>The research results were obtained from 91 respondents, dominated by respondents who had good skin care behavior, namely 50 respondents. There were 44 respondents who experienced acne vulgaris. A total of 26 (59.1%) respondents had poor skin care behavior while 18 (40.9%) of them had good skin care behavior. There were 47 respondents who did not experience acne vulgaris. A total of 15 (31.9%) respondents had poor skin care behavior while 32 (68.1%) of them had good skin care behavior. Health promotion is a crucial effort to improve knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors for preventing this infection.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test approach. The population consisted of students from SDN 024 Galang. Total sampling was used, involving 39 samples in each group. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-whitney statistical test with a significance level of 0.05<em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>The study found a significant influence of health promotion through animated video with poster media on improving respondents' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding STH (P = 0.000). However, no significant difference was found in the effectiveness between the animated video with poster groups regarding knowledge (P = 0.474), attitudes (P = 0.246), and behaviors (P = 0.727)<em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Health promotion through animated video with poster media significantly improves students' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding STH prevention. According to the WHO, dengue fever cases have increased over the past five years. With the rising number of cases, prevention efforts are necessary to avoid contracting this disease. Although a vaccine for dengue fever is available, not everyone can access it. An equally effective preventive measure is health promotion, and one medium for health promotion is animated videos.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This study is a quantitative research using a Pre-experimental design (One Group Pretest-Posttest). The statistical test used is the Paired Sample T Test. The sample consists of 92 students.</em></p> <p><strong>Results</strong>: <em>The findings show a significant increase in knowledge. Given the adverse effects of diarrhea on children, preventive efforts through health promotion are essential, one of which is using poster media. This study aims to determine the effect of health promotion through poster media on students' knowledge and attitudes in preventing diarrhea at SDN 006 Batam Kota.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This quantitative study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study population consisted of all students at SDN 006 Batam Kota, with a sample of 94 students selected using the Slovin formula and quota sampling technique. Data were collected through knowledge and attitude questionnaires and analyzed using parametric paired t-test or non-parametric Wilcoxon test, depending on data distribution.</em></p> <p><strong>Results: </strong><em>The study results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge and attitudes after receiving health promotion through poster media. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test revealed a p-value of 0.001 for the knowledge variable and p-value of 0.001 for the attitude variable, indicating a significant difference before and after the intervention (p &lt; 0.05).</em></p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong><em>Health promotion through poster media has been proven to significantly improve students' knowledge and attitudes in preventing diarrhea at SDN 006 Batam Kota.
