TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PARA PEKERJA PT YANG BERKERJA PADA SHIFT MALAM TENTANG KEBUTUHAN ISTIRAHAT DAN TIDUR DI RT 01/RW 01 DORMITORI MUKA KUNING KOTA BATAM

Abstract

Rest is a relaxed state without emotional stress, not only in a state of inactivity but also in conditions that require calm, while sleep is an unconscious condition in which individuals can be awakened by appropriate stimuli or sensory. Everyone needs rest and sleep in order to maintain optimal health status. In addition, the process of sleep can improve the various cells in the body. The aim of this research is to know the level of knowledge of PT workers who work on night shift about the need to rest and sleep in RT 01 / RW 01 Dormitory Muka Kuning Batam. This research design using the descriptive method. Data collection by using a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. This research was conducted on 26-27 June 2016 by using total sampling technique with a sample of 30 respondents of PT worker who work on night shift. Then the data is analyzed by univariate data analysis. The result of the research is a good category as many as 5 people (16,7%), enough category as many as 17 people (56,7%), less category as many as 8 people (26,7%). So it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of PT workers who work on the night shift about the need to rest and sleep in RT 01 / RW 01 Dormitory Muka Kuning Batam City is categorized enough. This can be seen from the answers in the distributed questionnaires.
