Background: Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders among the elderly and is a leading cause of activity limitations. Activity Daily Living (ADL) reflects the elderly's ability to independently perform basic daily activities. A decline in ADL independence can be influenced by low back pain, and conversely, LBP may worsen due to limited physical activity. And determine the relationship between ADL and LBP among elderly patients at Batu Aji and Botania Public Health Centers Methods: This study employed an analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample comprised all elderly patients at Batu Aji and Botania Public Health Centers who met the inclusion criteria, totaling 44 respondents, selected using a total sampling technique. ADL data were collected using the Barthel Index questionnaire, while LBP was measured using the Roland-Morris Questionnaire (RMQ) and medical diagnosis. Bivariate analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The majority of respondents were aged 60–66 years, female (63.6%), had moderate–severe ADL dependence (63.6%), and experienced minimal–mild low back pain (45.5%). The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between ADL and LBP (p-value = 0.015). Conclusion: There was a significant association between ADL independence levels and the degree of LBP among the elderly at Batu Aji and Botania Public Health Centers. Preventive and rehabilitative efforts, including increasing physical activity, postural education, and functional training, are essential to maintain elderly independence and reduce the impact of LBP.Downloads
