Excessive consumption of SSBs can lead to an increase in daily calorie intake, which contributes to the risk of weight gain and obesity. This study was aimed to the effect of Sugar Sweetened Beverages consumption on the risk of weight gain in 10th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Batam</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This study was an analytic observational design with a longitudinal approach. A total of 87 respondents were selected using cluster random sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) and weight measurements were taken using a digital scale at the beginning and end of a one-month period. In Indonesia, the increasing prevalence of anemia reflects a persistent public health challenge. One contributing factor is poor adherence to iron tablet (Fe) supplementation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between compliance with iron tablet consumption and the incidence of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women at the Sei Langkai Public Health Center</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with a total of 56 pregnant women. Data were collected through questionnaires and hemoglobin levels were measured using the Easy Touch device. Pap Smear is an effective early detection method, yet its coverage remains low despite frequent education efforts. Women's knowledge is believed to influence screening decisions</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>A descriptive correlative study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted on 96 married women aged 20–65 years, selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Fisher Exact Test.</em></p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> <em>Most respondents had good knowledge about cervical cancer (86.5%) and early detection of Pap Smear (89.6%), but only 26.0% had ever had a Pap Smear examination. Bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge of cervical cancer and Pap Smear examination (p = 0.503). However, there was a significant relationship between knowledge of early detection of Pap Smear and Pap Smear examination (p = 0.059).</em></p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong><em>Specific and applicable knowledge about Pap Smear has been proven to influence early detection actions, while general knowledge about cervical cancer is not enough to encourage screening actions. One of the external factors suspected to contribute to the onset of acne is the use of cosmetics. However, scientific evidence regarding this relationship remains varied. This study aims to determine the relationship between cosmetic use and the incidence of acne vulgaris among female students at </em>SMAN 20 Kota Batam<em>.</em></h1> <p><strong>Methods:</strong><em> This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 218 students were selected using purposive sampling from a population of 480. Data were collected through direct clinical examinations by a physician, and the frequency of cosmetic use was measured using the Cumulative Cosmetic Exposure Index </em>(CCEI)<em>. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test.</em></p> <p><strong>Results:</strong><em> Most respondents used cosmetics with moderate to high frequency, and more than half did not experience acne vulgaris. Statistical analysis showed no significant relationship between the frequency of cosmetic use and the incidence of acne vulgaris (p = 0,991).</em></p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong><em> There is no statistically significant relationship between cosmetic use and the incidence of acne vulgaris among female students at SMAN 20 Kota Batam. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable to psychological issues due to their complex emotional and social development stages. This study aims to examine the relationship between gadget usage intensity and anxiety disorders among students at SMA Negeri X in Batam City</em><em>.</em></p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong><em>This was an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 322 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a gadget use intensity questionnaire and the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HARS) scale. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank test.</em></p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> <em>A 73% of students with low gadget use intensity did not experience anxiety, 43.4% of students with moderate gadget use intensity did not experience anxiety, and 30.7% of students with high gadget use intensity experienced moderate anxiety.
