Abstract

Empathy is an important aspect of socialization and an individual's mental state because empathy is a trait that refers to a person's behavior in feeling what other people feel. Extraversion also has a significant influence on a person's behavior because extraversion refers to a person's energy in interacting with things outside themselves, so it also influences a person's empathy. Nowadays, empathy is often a hot topic of discussion in the realm of psychology because many social and psychological problems are feared to occur due to a lack of empathy. This experiment aims to improve empathy skills by using the Mirror Game. This experiment used the Big Five Markers scale as a tool to measure extraversion, and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index as a tool to measure empathic concern.
