Obesity is a condition that occurs when the quality of the body fat tissue fraction compared to total body weight is greater than normal. Based on the results of interviews of 11 (18.6%) toddlers there were 8 toddlers who were obese because they consumed formula milk using milk bottles. This type of research is an analytic survey. The approach used in this study is Cross-Sectional. The population in this study were all who consumed formula milk. Sampling technique Total sampling with the number of respondents as much as 101. The analysis is carried out in stages (1) univariate analysis using the distribution and percentage of each variable. (2) Bivariate Analysis looks at the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables using Chi-Square. The results of univariate toddlers study that consumed formula milk using bottles as many as 90 toddlers (89.1%), and toddlers who did not use bottles as many as 11 toddlers (10.9%). Obese toddlers get as many as 59 toddlers (58.4%), and toddlers who are not obese are 42 toddlers (41.6%). While the bivariate variable shows that there is a significant relationship between giving formula milk with milk bottles and the occurrence of obesity in infants. Toddlers who consumed formula milk using non-obese bottles were 34 toddlers (33.7%), while toddlers who consumed formula milk using obese milk bottles were 56 toddlers (55.4%). By showing significant results with p-value 0.048 (p <0.05). It is expected that parents pay more attention and know how to give formula milk to their children.Referensi
