Menstruation is a bleeding due to the whole wall of the inner uterus (endometrium). If no embryo implantation occurs this layer will shed. Menstrual cycle that occurs in women is not always normal. This is influenced by several factors such as changes in stress hormone levels. This study aims to determine the relationship between the stress level with menstrual cycle in adolescent girls class X in SMK Negeri 2 Batam Year 2017 and aims to determine the distribution of stress levels and menstrual cycle in X-class girls in SMK Negeri 2 Batam 2017. The design of this study using cross sectional method is a study done in one time only population of this research is student smk country 2 Batam and sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling with amount 83 girl. The instrument used in data collection is a questionnaire. The results were analyzed univariat and bivariate. Univariate results showed more than half of respondents had a very heavy stress level (66.3%) and had an abnormal menstrual cycle (54.2%). The result of the research analyzed data by using chi-square statistic test obtained p value = 0.000 which is smaller than <0.05 there is relation between stress level with menstrual cycle at adolescent of class X daughter at SMK Negeri 2 Batam. It is expected that the school can improve students' knowledge about how to prevent stress so that students can avoid stress.Referensi
