The WHO census shows that 50% of infants in Asia suffer from malnutrition. Low-income populations, especially on health issues and malnutrition cases are included. The aim of this research is to observe family economic status with infant nutrient status. This research was cross sectional study conducted in  Community Health Clinic Batam with sampling method by using accidental sampling and sample in this research was 100 respondents. Results of 52 women who have income according to minimum wage with 38 infants malnutrition (38.0%). From the Chi-square test, p-value = 0,00 <α 0,05 and the conclusion is there is relationship between economic status relationship and nutritional status of infant in the Community Health Clinic Batam. Suggestion for health personnel at Community Health Clinic Batam is to form mother and child class to give health education about the importance of balance nutrition to infant.Referensi
