Abstrak

Degradasi lingkungan merupakan dampak yang sering muncul akibat pesatnya pembangunan infrastruktur dan aktivitas manusia. Kerusakan lingkungan seperti penurunan kualitas tanah, air, dan ekosistem menuntut adanya upaya pemulihan yang berkelanjutan. Rekayasa teknik sipil memiliki peran penting dalam merancang dan menerapkan solusi teknis yang mampu memulihkan lingkungan tanpa mengorbankan kebutuhan pembangunan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penyebab degradasi lingkungan serta peran rekayasa teknik sipil dalam pemulihan lingkungan terdegradasi melalui pendekatan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dari berbagai sumber ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep teknik sipil berkelanjutan seperti infrastruktur hijau, pengelolaan sumber daya air, dan penggunaan material ramah lingkungan dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam pemulihan lingkungan.
