Analisa Kapasitas Saluran Drainase Terhadap Genangan Banjir pada Ruas Jalan Tengku Sulung, Batam

The high population growth in the city of Batam causes more water catchment areas to be converted into residential, office and industrial areas. This causes the importance of an adequate drainage system so that floods that occur in the rainy season can be avoided. One of the roads that often floods is the Tengku Sulung road in Batam City District. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the capacity of the drainage channel on the road deer. The analysis was carried out using 5 and 10 year return period data. The design discharge was selected using the Normal Distribution Method and the Log Person Type III Distribution Method. The data fit test was carried out using the Smirnov-Kolmogorov Probability Distribution Test. In addition to the planned discharge based on 5 and 10 year return periods, the drainage capacity also takes into account the discharge of household waste originating from the houses served by the drainage channel. The results of data processing show that the discharge condition that can be accommodated by the existing drainage is 10.08m3, while the planned Q5annual discharge = 24.45m3 and Q10annual discharge = 31.50m3, so that the existing drainage conditions are not able to accommodate the planned flood discharge.Referensi
