Abstrak

This project is creating a prototype of a steam iron cabinet, where this device this is designed for it’s ability to work automatically that ironing process is not done directly. This automatic control system of the steam iron cabinet is utilizing temperature and push button as parameters, restrained by mikrokontroller with Fuzzy logic as system controller. When the data inserted to the system such as amount of cloth and temperature that detected by sensor LM35, then fuzzy logic will process and activates relay as it’s output. Then relay will activate the heater and then results steam according to the time determined by fuzzy logic. This steam will be used to iron dress and continued by drying up process by fan.This system testing includes testing unit and overall testing. Testing of the sensor LM35 works properly to measure the temperature with small average of error which is 0.86oC.Overall the test has been running well, because the system is able to work at different times depending on the input entered. Automatic system is able to work properly that after ironing process ends automatically continued by a drying process.
