Abstrak

Culinary tourism significantly impacts the development of a region, particularly in fostering potential tourist destinations in Batam City. As one of the major cities in the Riau Islands, Batam offers a range of tourism facilities., including culinary tourism options. This system aims to provide a platform that facilitates tourists in locating culinary tourism sites in Batam City and accessing comprehensive information about these locations through maps. The findings indicate that this system successfully features culinary tourism search capabilities along with maps of the culinary destinations to be explored. The implementation of an information system powered by Web GIS in Batam City. focuses on creating a culinary tourism experience platform that utilizes Google Maps API to enhance tourists' access to information about culinary attractions. This research demonstrates that the "WebGIS-Based Batam City Culinary Tourism Information System" has been effectively created using programming languages HTML and PHP, and Java Script. In conclusion, the culinary tourism application based on Web GIS for Batam simplifies the process for tourists in finding the culinary destinations they wish to explore.
